The spine is made up of a series of bones called vertebrae that are Lumbar Spine stacked one upon another and separated by discs. There are two joints between each pair of vertebrae. These joints and the flexible discs allow spine motion.
Behind the vertebral bodies are bony projections that form a tunnel protecting the spinal cord. Between each pair of vertebrae there is a pair of exiting nerves, one on each side.
